Matador "No Fine Print" Warranty

At Matador, we believe in transparency and simplicity.  We don’t offer ambiguous “lifetime” warranties with pages of exclusions in fine print.  Instead, we tell you exactly what you can expect from our warranty and we live up to it - every time.  You can find the details of the different warranties we offer below:
Matador 1-Year Warranty:
Matador products all carry a minimum 1-year warranty on material and workmanship defects unless otherwise specified. We guarantee your product will remain fully functional for 1 year from the date of purchase for the original purchaser. If you have a functional issue with your product in the first year, Matador will refund, repair, or replace it with one of equal value or condition. This warranty does not cover customer abuse, cosmetic damage, or fabric coatings. Repairs will bring the product back to its original functionality but may not be cosmetically perfect.
Matador 2-Year Warranty:
For products that carry a 2-year warranty: We guarantee your product will remain fully functional for 2 years from the date of purchase for the original purchaser. If you have a functional issue with your product in the first 2 years, Matador will refund, repair, or replace it with one of equal value or condition. This warranty does not cover customer abuse, cosmetic damage, or fabric coatings. Repairs will bring the product back to its original functionality but may not be cosmetically perfect.
Matador 3-Year Warranty:
For products that carry a 3-year warranty: We guarantee your product will remain fully functional for 3 years from the date of purchase for the original purchaser. If you have a functional issue with your product in the first 3 years, Matador will refund, repair, or replace it with one of equal value or condition. This warranty does not cover customer abuse, cosmetic damage, or fabric coatings. Repairs will bring the product back to its original functionality but may not be cosmetically perfect.
Warranty Restrictions:
Purchases from unauthorized retailers on third-party sites, platforms, or stores (example: ebay) may not be covered under warranty. Proof of purchase will be required to file a warranty claim. Only products sold by “Matador Outdoor Products” on amazon.com and .ca are eligible for warranty coverage.
Warranty Claims:
Please contact CustomerService@MatadorUp.com to make a warranty claim. Include your name and order number, original order confirmation, or a photo/scan of your original purchase receipt. Because we always try to take care of our customers, Matador may still consider warranty claims that do not meet the above requirements. If you have an issue beyond the warranty period or don't have your original receipt, reach out to CustomerService@MatadorUp.com with your issue and we will determine if we can still cover the issue under warranty.
Warranty options after warranty period has expired:
If your product has failed after the warranty period, then please email customerservice@matadorup.com and provide a photo of the issue along with proof of purchase to discuss your options.
